Meet Our Team

Alice Benton – Director

Alice Benton has 20 years’ NHS commissioning experience and detailed knowledge of health contracting, commissioning, policy and strategy. Her work in an East of England CCG focused on supporting GP transformation, preparing primary care for new ways of working and broader system integration.

She led the London-wide NHSE dental, optometry and pharmacy team, including urgent care with an annual budget of almost £1bn. She led general practice commissioning in both South West and East London. Alice has gathered detailed commissioning, service redesign, and change management skills and is passionate about assuring the resilience of primary care.

Rachel Edwards – Director

Rachel Edwards has 25 years’ NHS and public sector experience with significant knowledge of change and transformation projects. Her work for NHS primary and secondary care clients has resulted in real change and performance improvement in their service delivery.

She has led projects that include mobilising integrated services, strategic and workforce development and place-based collaboration and is passionate about helping clients address digital exclusion and health inequalities. Rachel’s understanding of local government and the way it works combined with her experience of developing population-based services are valuable in the development of integrated health services.

Mike Gill – Director

Mike Gill has 30 years’ NHS and public sector experience with knowledge of service transformations, project management and delivering change. His work within the NHS includes projects in primary and secondary care, working with GPs, GP Federations and NHS commissioners on resilience and efficiency projects.

He has led projects that have delivered organisational and service growth, greater efficiency and improvement in management and leadership. Mike’s long experience of delivering complex and challenging change programmes and his passion for effective public services led him to write a book on that very subject.

Ken MacNeill – Director

Ken MacNeill has 35 years’ NHS and public sector experience and is an accountant. His work includes governance, efficiency and financial management projects and has experience of developing at scale services, including financial and technical aspects of collaboration and mergers.

He has worked across sectors including in social care and widely in local government so brings an understanding of how different parts of the public sector work. Ken is practical and good at working with people to get things done and brings the experiences of balancing the differing needs of businesses operating in the public sector
